Entries show monthly and year to date figures in such categories as General Administration, Allowances to Individual Indians, and Health and Sanitation among others. Expenditures are broken down as to salaries, supplies and materials, repairs, and other expenses. Income is identified as coming from rentals, fees, or sale of products.

Mount Pleasant Indian Industrial Boarding School in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, was established by an act of the United States Congress in 1891.
